Pets in Need Clinic Program
In 2008, we responded to the President’s plea for community service by creating our discount Pets in Need Clinic at Henrietta Animal Hospital. Since that time, we have developed the clinic into a referral-based program to provide basic medical support to cats and dogs whose owners have been through difficult times.
The PINC program is open to owners who are experiencing temporary financial trouble, have suffered natural disasters, or who are in extenuating financial circumstances due to military service.
A referral stating need from a social worker, caseworker, clergy or similar individual is necessary for participation. Our discounted services are limited to: vaccination, deworming, heartworm blood tests, and food donations.
As a decades-long member of the Rochester community, the Henrietta Animal Hospital believes strongly that we have an obligation to give back to those pet owners who may be having a difficult time in their lives and need some support. It is in this spirit that we offer our own Pets in Need Clinic (PINC) program.
We often work with the following organizations: Catholic Family Center, Open Door Mission, American Red Cross, Salvation Army, Veteran’s Outreach Center, Visiting Nurse Services, the United Way, and the Jewish Family Service. If you know an individual who may be in need of our services, or an organization that would like to be involved, please let us know.
