Services

The Henrietta Animal Hospital is a full service veterinary hospital located on East Henrietta Road, approximately 10 minutes south of the city of Rochester, NY.

PICK-UP & DELIVERY SERVICES:

We are pleased to offer convenient pick up and delivery for those clients who cannot bring their pets into our office during scheduled office hours.

 

SURGERY / LAB SERVICES:

We provide all basic veterinary medical care and surgery.  The hospital is equipped with state of the art surgical suite.

In addition we are equipped with an in house chemistry analyzer which allows us to obtain vital blood work results within minutes.

 GROOMING SERVICES:

We do offer routine baths and grooming on an appointment basis Contact Us for an appointment.

 

TRAINING SERVICES:

Family Dog Service LLC will be starting  June 14th

Pat Werner and Amanda Pontarella have a long and successful history of canine obedience training.

Group classes and private instruction are available.

Classes begin Monday June 14 at 6:45 PM at the Henrietta Animal Hospital

BOARDING SERVICES:

Check in on your pets while your away!

We offer both deluxe and economy boarding. Within our boarding services, we offer your pet a variety of meals off our menu.

  • Day care
  • Fenced in play area supervised play time for cats and dogs
  • sheepskin rugs for added comfort
  • walks
  • story time for older less active pets
  • fountain fresh water for cats

 encourages older pets to drink more water.
 
 

The Henrietta Animal Hospital  has limited boarding space, primarily reserved for our clientele.

  • If you plan to board your pet must be current on all vaccines and have a reservation.
  • Dogs require DA2LPP, Rabies and Kennel Cough and are required to be heartworm negativeon preventaitve and have evidence of a negative fecal examination.

     

  • Cats require FVRCP, Rabies and must have evidence that they are leukemia negative or have leukemia vaccinations.  They must also have a negative fecal examination within the last year.
     
  • Titers showing an appropriate antibody level will be accepted if performed within the last 3 months
     
  • We have indoor climate controlled runs and all dogs are walked at least 4 times daily.
     
  • We do have Sunday pickups between 5:00 and 5:30 PM only, holidays are an exception. ALWAYS phone the office ahead of time for holiday hours.
